Hi, here we'll see how to configure Putty to work with the PI

  1. Download and install Putty https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html

  2. Run Putty

  3. Where it says Hostname enter the IP of the PI if you do not know the ip of the pi follow https://www.fission3d.com/single-post/2017/09/25/Angry-IP-Scanner-Guide

  4. change the connection type to SSH

  5. Change the port to 22

  6. Where it says Saved sessions add a name that you would like to save the settings with so you do not have to enter them every time you open putty

  7. click save

  8. now double click the name you saved which should be in the list

  9. if you are ask to save a key go ahead and select yes

  10. login and your in ;)
